Algerian Muay Thai fighter Mohamed Younes Rabah is set to make his ONE Championship debut this week at the event ONE Fight Night 17.
The 26-year-old Algerian replaces the injured Brazilian Felipe Lobo and will compete against Saemapetch Fairtex in the early hours of Saturday, 9 December.
A member of Team Mehdi Zatout (a former ONE fighter), Rabah stands at 188cm and owns a 13-0 professional record ahead of facing his Thai opponent, currently ranked third in ONE’s Bantamweight Muay Thai division.
The 29-year-old Thai star has 126 career victories to his name and has last beaten compatriot Kaonar Sor Jor Thongprajin via first-round knockout at ONE Friday Fights 30 in August.
In the main event, ONE Fight Night 17 witnesses a highly anticipated battle between ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion Roman Kryklia and WBC Heavyweight Muay Thai title for the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai world championship.
ONE Fight Night 17 kicks off at 3:00 AM Mecca this Saturday. MENA viewers can watch the show live on BeIN Sports.
