Arman Tsarukyan says he is looking forward to knock out UFC Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in the first round.
Tsarukyan picked up an impressive KO win within 64 seconds against Beneil Dariush at UFC Fight Night inside Moody Center.
After the 27-year-old Georgian lightweight raised his UFC record to 8-2 and his overall record to 21-3, he said: “I feel I can knock him [Islam Makhachev] out in the first round.”
Tsarukyan’s only two losses in UFC came against Mateusz Gamrot via a controversial decision and Makhachev in 2019.
Makhachev last fought in October at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi where he defeated Alexander Volkanovski via a first-round KO.
