ONE Championship has announced ONE 166: Qatar which will mark the martial arts organization’s first ever event on Qatari soil.
The March 1 event will be held inside the Lusail Sports Arena and will feature five world title bouts and fights across mixed martial arts, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Submission Grappling.
ONE announced the opening of ticket sales to the event via Virgin Megastore or Q-Tickets.
Founded in 2011, ONE Championship boasts a talented roster from more than 80 countries. Its athletes include top MENA talent such as Algerian kickboxing veteran Anissa Meksen, ONE Strawweight Muay Thai champion Morocco’s Joseph Lasiri, undefeated rising Algerian Muay Thai star Mohamed Younes Rabah, as well as Algeria’s Elias Mahmoudi who is set to fight for the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing world title in the promotion’s first major event of 2024.
ONE 166: Qatar will kick off at 3:30 PM Mecca and will be broadcast live on beIN Sports in the MENA region.
